Finningley Amateur Radio Society welcomes you to the UK Microwave Group Yorkshire Roundtable to be held on the 11th and 12th of July 2009.

Saturday 11th
ATV Workshop led by Peter Blakeborough, G3PYB (President of BATC)
10am– 4.30pm: MICROWAVE ATV WORKSHOP
(Organised by G3PYB and G8DKK)
This is aimed that those who have an interest in
microwave ATV but have not yet got going. It will also
be of interest to more experienced ATVers.
7.30pm—11pm: Meal in a local pub
This will be most enjoyable, as was last year’s so
please come along. It’s essential to register for this on
the Finningley ARS website (see above).
Meal to be held in the Green Tree Restaurant Carvery - Cost under £5 a head.

3.30-4.15: Reflections on microwaves … An intriguing talk by Barry, G8AGN on some of his recent experiments
4.15-4.30: Last minute purchases at the Bring & Buy followed by close down
Getting here.
For those with Sat Nav the nearest postcode is DN8 5SX. This will take you to approximately outside of the Trolley Bus Museum. We are between this and the Riendeer Public House.
From the North and South. Take the M18 to J5. Take the M180 Eastbound for approx half a mile and take the first junction off signposted Thorne / Doncaster. Take the right hand lane and follow the signs for Hatfield. Make a left hand turn onto Belton Road before the Green Tree Garage and opposite the entrance to the Green Tree Restaurant. Follow this road for 5 miles until you pass the Reindeer Public House. Take the second exit at the mini roundabout and the club buildings are approximately 400 yards down on your left.
From the East. Take the M180 to J2. Turn left onto the A161 towards Belton. At the first mini-roundabout take the third exit and head down Westgate Road. Follow this road until you pass an Airfield on your left and the Trolley Bus Museum on your right. The club buildings and entrance are another 100 yards down on the right past the Trolley Bus Museum.
